Writers
Scrybe is a submission platform built in collaboration with the industry's most respected screenwriting competitions. We offer writers a clean, unified profile where they can track all their scripts, submissions, and placements across vetted partner programs.
Simply click the Get Started for Free button to create your profile, upload your scripts, and submit to trusted competitions in just a few clicks—every submission, status, and result will be automatically tracked for you. When you place or win, you can showcase those achievements and build a verified record of your growth over time.
See your writer profile as your own personal webpage. It's a place where you can list your bio and accomplishments to share with the world, if you so wish. On the backend, you will be able to create and manage your projects.
Yes. But it's free and can be created in under a minute!
Absolutely. And you can update them with newer drafts as you go.
Nope. It's 100% free!
Nope!
Yes, you can. As many as you wish.
Usually yes, but it's worth checking a particular contest's Rules to see what they do and don't accept.
Each contest you enter will notify you in a timely manner. That email will be sent through their partner dashboard, so it will be under the Scrybe name in your inbox.
Yes, you will.
You can do so under the Settings option when you are logged in. You will see all the options under Communications.
Check your submission to see what information is missing from your submission. Rectifying that will lead to your submission changing to 'in consideration'. If it is unclear what is incomplete regarding your submission, please email the contest you entered. They will be able to help clarify.
Usually yes, but each contest has their own set of rules so you will need to check those for the specific contest you wish to submit a newer draft to.
Absolutely. Click on the bell symbol beside a particular contest to become subscribed to their submission updates.
Please get in touch with our team from the Contact page and we will resend it.
Not currently, but it is something we are working hard to implement.
No, not at present. If we do, we want it to have some real world value and not just be an arbitrary number. For example, it could be that the top 10 scripts each month get on calls with leading industry figures. This feature is still up for discussion. We'd love to hear your thoughts on what you'd like to see…
A rule of thumb is that it is best to upload your script without a cover page. However, it's not essential and not an issue if you do enter a contest with the title page attached.
You should first contact the contest and try to come to an amicable resolution. If that's not possible, then please email us from the Contact page and we can look into this.
Get in touch with contest you entered regarding this and your reasoning. If it can't be resolved that way then do email us with all the information.
Not at present. It is a feature we are looking to add. You can of course add coverage to any contest submission that offers it.
